Borneopedia.com is conceived and operated by Joseph Leong Sai Ho, better known simply as Joe Leong, a Borneo journalist who has worked in Sibu and Kuching (in Sarawak) from 1962 and Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) since 1966, having served in many positions, all within the field of mass media communications.
Borneo is the third largest island in the world. Blessed with countless treasures of nature, the peoples and places of Borneo are still filled with mysticism and wonder to this day. This domain serves to open windows enabling the outside world to have vivid glimpses of its richness and splendour.
This is a service to humanity, for the strengthening of the brotherhood of man that transcends the sovereignty of nations.
